SCORING RULES

Official Rules

* Draft night will be held in a specified location at a pre-determined start time announced to all registered players via Email or Text Message.

* Captains will be drawn at random at the start of the event.

* the amount of captains is based on player field (Total Players divided by 5 = # of captains. i.e. 35 player field = 7 captains to average 5 players per team).

* 12 team max

* 100 Player max

* Each Registered player will pay a buy-in (i.e. $100 or $200)

* The winning team will split the prize money

* Each team will start with $1,000 in draft dollars (Auction style draft- bid for players)

* Captains will begin the bidding on players based on the previous series points rank order (i.e. if John Smith won player of the series, he would be the first registered player to bid on and so forth)

* Bidding clock starts at 0:10 Seconds and resets every Bid.

* Each player bid value will start at $1 (if nobody bids on said player it goes to the team with the most money spent so far (which will create a bidding war so they don't have more players (ideally)) if it's the first player on the board it will go to the captain that was selected last)

* Player list of names will available 15 mins prior to Draft.

* The teams will be capped at 12 teams or 100 Players

* Players do not need to be present for the draft - only pre-registered (However if you are not present you cannot be selected as a captain)

* There is no Roster Cap - (If you spend all of your $1,000 on 3 players and another team has 9 players....thats on you)

* Players vying for draft status must pre-register (with photo and name, no nicknames)

* The team with the most cash at the end of the draft will pay for the last player on the board.

* In order to receive points, a player must cash.

* An additional point per 100 entries is awarded to players who finish in the top 18. No rounding off.

An event with 87 players gets no point bonus, a 105 player field gets a 1 point bonus, a 265 player field gets a 2 point bonus, and a 1451 player field would award a 14 point bonus to all players in top 18.

* All Points 0.5x in events with less than a $250 buy-in (Excluding Mix Game events)

* All Points are worth 1.5x in events over $500 buy-in

* All Points are worth double in events with a $1,000 buy-in or higher

* Events with a buy-in of less than $250 will have the field size bonus capped at 9 tables (81 players) and the field size bonus is capped at 100 points.

* In a heads up or shootout event, players finishing in the same position would split the points for that spot. For example, 5th through 8th would get 22.5 points (plus field size bonuses) and be rounded up.

* Points will only be awarded in open events, no player of the series points will count.

*Tag Team events will result in .5 points for each team member rounded down. 2.5 points = 2 points.

* Results are final as long as one event runs.

* Only events on the schedule before the draft count.

* If an event is cancelled, any results from that event do not count.

* If an existing event is rescheduled and plays to completion, it will count.

* Ladies, Seniors, and Employee events will count.

* The field bonus is capped at 100 points.* As of 2024:

* Mix game Points are worth a 1.5 bonus (this helps boost draft stock of Mix Players)

* Mix game is defined as any tournament that consists of playing anything other than Texas Hold'em (i.e. Pot Limit Omaha, H.O.R.S.E, NLHE & PLO Double Board Bombpot).

* Back to Back cashes earn a X1.2 bonus rounded up. (i.e. if you min cash for 1 pt, then final table another- your final table cash is worth 1.2x bonus (25x1.2 = 30)

* 3 Cashes in a row get a 1.5x Bonus

* 4 Cashes in a row get a 2x bonus. (this is the cap)

* Collusion caught between players on the same team or against another team will not be tolerated and will result in a full orbit penalty- along with forfeiture of points for that event.

*Understand that by opening yourself to this competition that there may captains, players or people that do not know your name or poker history, therefore you may fall in the draft or be the last one selected. this doesn't mean you're a bad poker player, they may not know who you are! go prove them wrong!
