Consent and Release Form

 

Thank you for your interest in participating in a filmed event produced by The Poker Gods Studios (Kasey Orr). Before joining the show, please carefully read and sign this agreement. By signing, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Participation and Filming Consent

 

I, the undersigned, acknowledge and consent to:

• Participate in filmed events that are provided by The Poker Gods (Kasey Orr) voluntarily and of my own free will.

• Being filmed, photographed, or otherwise recorded during my participation.

• The Producers of The Poker Gods (hereafter referred to as “Producers”) using my image, likeness, voice, and poker gameplay for commercial, promotional, and entertainment purposes without restriction, including editing or altering content for creative or theatrical purposes.

 

2. Acknowledgment of Poker Gameplay and Monetary Transactions

 

I understand that:

• The poker games on The Poker Gods Studios comply with all applicable Nevada state laws and regulations governing private gambling activities in private residences.

• I understand that the producers of are not involved in any paid services (all money in the game stays in the game) 

• My participation is strictly voluntary, and I am responsible for all decisions and actions taken during gameplay.

• The Producers and The Poker Gods brand are not responsible for any monetary transactions that occur during or in relation to the poker game, including buy-ins, winnings, or losses.

• The host/ producers of the game do not profit from the private poker games, ensuring compliance with Nevada state laws as this is a private (invite only) event at a private residence

• Any disputes related to monetary transactions must be resolved directly among the players, and I release the Producers from any involvement or liability.

 

3. Creative Rights and Representations

 

I acknowledge that:

• The Producers may edit, exaggerate, or alter video representations of my participation for creative and theatrical purposes.

• I waive any rights to inspect or approve the final product or its specific uses.

• All footage, recordings, and related materials are the exclusive intellectual property of the Producers, and I waive any claims to ownership or royalties.

 

4. Release of Liability

 

I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Producers, sponsors, affiliates, and associated parties from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, or causes of action, including but not limited to:

• Defamation, invasion of privacy, or perceived misrepresentation resulting from my participation or portrayal on Masters of the Game.

• Any disputes arising from monetary transactions during gameplay.

• Any personal injuries, illnesses, or property damage incurred during my participation, whether at the filming location or while traveling to and from the event.

• Any emotional distress or reputational impact caused by my participation or portrayal in the show.

5. Compliance with Nevada Laws

 

I understand and confirm that:

​

• The Producers and Studios adhere to all Nevada state laws governing private gambling activities in private residences.

• The host does not profit from the private poker games, and all activities are conducted in accordance with legal standards.

• I will not engage in any actions that violate these laws or any other applicable regulations.

6. Health Risks and Assumption of Risk

 

I acknowledge that:

​

• I am participating at my own risk and assume responsibility for any potential health risks, including but not limited to contracting illnesses or injuries during my participation.

• I release the Producers and affiliates from any liability related to health issues arising from my participation.

 

7. No Litigation Agreement

 

I agree not to initiate or pursue any lawsuits or legal claims against the Producers, sponsors, or affiliates regarding my participation in Masters of the Game, including but not limited to claims related to:

​

• Video representations, creative edits, or content distribution.

• Gameplay outcomes, monetary disputes, or any financial agreements.

• Emotional distress, reputational harm, or misrepresentation.

• Any physical injuries, illnesses, or property damage incurred.

 

8. General Disclaimer

 

By signing this agreement, I:

​

• Acknowledge that the poker games conducted on Masters of the Game are competitive in nature and may involve stress or tension.

• Understand that sensitive or personal information will not be intentionally included in the final product but may be incidentally captured during filming, for which the Producers are not liable.

• Waive any rights to pursue claims against the Producers, sponsors, or affiliates for any reason arising from my participation.

 

9. Acknowledgment and Signature

 

By clicking on "Agree" in the link of the above form provided, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined above. I am participating in Masters of the Game voluntarily and without coercion, and I accept all risks associated with my participation.
