The Board Ripped to Shreds
Under the hum of the bar and overhead lights, three players locked horns just after the clock started—blinds at 500/1,000, tension thick in the air.
Marshall, sitting small blind with nothing but J3 offsuit, tossed in the call. The big blind followed suit. The UTG player, feeling bold, raised it up to 2,500. Marshall smirked and flicked in the chips. The big blind came along.
Flop: J 6 3
Top pair and bottom pair. A sneaky monster. Marshall checked. Big blind checked. UTG fired out 4,000 without hesitation.
Marshall leaned forward, shuffled a few chips, and bumped it to 10,000. Big blind wanted no part. But UTG? He jammed. A snap-call from Marshall lit the fuse.
Turn: 3
River: 3
A stunned silence fell over the table. Three threes—back to back—had just dropped like lightning bolts.
UTG turned over J5, his face full of confidence—until Marshall calmly flipped his J3.
Quads.
The table erupted.
Chips slid his way, over 40,000 worth, as players exchanged wide-eyed glances. Marshall just grinned and stacked silently, the echoes of the moment hanging in the balance!
